My professional carrier as a photographer is significantly owed to my previous two backgrounds: a Bachelor of Architecture and a 7-year experience at Dentsu - Japan's largest advertisement agency, both of which taught me the joy of creation.

I love the scale of creativity in architecture that allows you to design a space that actually surrounds you. And of course I love advertisement as well, not only because of the dynamism it involves but also of the fact that the advertisement industry is what has brought me to my life's work; photography.

It was in 2001 when I flew to Australia to become a photography student at the Sunshine Coast TAFE. The new environment gave me immense amounts of inspiration, which led me to successfully receive a number of Australian and international awards.

Photography has many different facets like anything else, but the aspect I am the most fond of is that it freezes the world in a fraction of a second, making it eternal.
